Ngày 22/7, Sở GD&ĐT TP Cần Thơ phối hợp với các Nhà xuất bản (NXB) tổ chức bồi dưỡng giáo viên Tiếng Anh và chuyên viên phụ trách Tiếng Anh cấp Tiểu học. Bồi dưỡng giáo viên Tiếng Anh lớp 1 tại TP Cần Thơ.

Trước đó, các giáo viên tiểu học ở 9 quận/huyện của thành phố đã hoàn thành lựa chọn SGK Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018. Trong đó, môn Tiếng Anh với 2 bộ sách của NXB Giáo dục Việt Nam: Tiếng Anh 1 – chủ biên Hoàng Văn Vân và Family and Friends National Edition – chủ biên Trần Cao Bội Ngọc.

Sau khi chọn SGK, Sở GD&ĐT TP Cần Thơ đã phối hợp với NXB để tổ chức các lớp bồi dưỡng giáo viên dạy lớp 1 năm học 2020 – 2021.

Tham gia bồi dưỡng có 280 giáo viên Tiếng Anh, chuyên viên phụ trách tiếng Anh của 9 quận, huyện trên địa bàn TP Cần Thơ. Học viên tham gia lớp bồi dưỡng được giảng viên là các chuyên gia đến từ các NXB giới thiệu những điểm nổi bật của 2 bộ sách tiếng Anh.

Các chuyên gia cũng hướng dẫn những thủ thuật, cách thức sử dụng hiệu quả trong giảng dạy Tiếng Anh lớp 1 và cách thức xây dựng hoạt động Động và Tĩnh trong tiết học tiếng Anh. Giúp nâng cao hiệu quả trong quản lí lớp học, đáp ứng yêu cầu Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông 2018.

Đồng thời, hướng dẫn các học viên về cách thức tổ chức hoạt động dạy học phù hợp đặc điểm lứa tuổi, phù hợp tư duy ngôn ngữ của trẻ, dạy tiếng Anh qua kể chuyện, thực hành soạn giảng… Các chuyên gia tổ chức một tiết dạy minh họa cho các học viên tham gia, sau đó tổng kết bằng bảng checklist và thiết kế giáo án cho 1 tiết học.

Theo ông Võ Minh Lợi, Phó Giám đốc Sở GD&ĐT TP Cần Thơ, năm học 2020 -2021 là năm đầu tiên thực hiện Chương trình Giáo dục phổ thông mới. Ngành Giáo dục TP Cần Thơ đã chuẩn bị từ cơ sở vật chất, tổ chức đội ngũ đến tập huấn bồi dưỡng cho các thầy cô giáo chuẩn bị thực hiện chương trình mới.

Sở đã lên kế hoạch, sắp xếp các điều kiện thuận lợi nhất và tốt nhất để các thầy cô giáo tham gia tất cả các lớp bồi dưỡng SGK chương trình mới. Với tinh thần chỉ đạo chung, chương trình là cốt lõi, SGK là dữ liệu để dạy học và mục đích cuối cùng là thực hiện chương trình.

Kết thúc lớp bồi dưỡng, các giáo viên tham gia sẽ làm thu hoạch đánh giá kết quả và được Sở GD&ĐT TP Cần Thơ cấp giấy chứng nhận hoàn thành lớp bồi dưỡng.
